Tyler Mitchell

Tyler was born on February 20, 1993, in Charlotte, NC. He currently lives in Indian Land, S.C. Tyler started singing in church when he was just a little fellow. He began playing piano at age 8, switched to trumpet at age 10 and then picked up the guitar at age 11. Now at the ripe old age of 16, he plays 11 instruments (mostly self-taught) including mandolin, harmonica, most brass, violin, & stand-up bass. Monday afternoons, Tyler practices with the Indian Land High School jazz band and gives guitar lessons. Tuesday nights you can find him playing mandolin with a local bluegrass band, The Osceola Boys. On the first Wednesday of the month, he is usually at the Evening Muse in Charlotte, N.C. Tyler has performed at weddings, in coffee houses, at churches, and clubs in both North and South Carolina.
