NYC Pride Guide 2026
June is one of the best months to be in New York, and Pride is a big reason why. Across the city, you'll find parades, parties, performances, and opportunities to support the LGBTQIA+ community. Whether you're celebrating, showing up for others, or both, there's no shortage of ways to get involved.

There’s nothing like queer nightlife in NYC during Pride month. We rounded up some of our favorite queer-friendly bars for drag, disco, dancing, strong drinks, and nights that turn into mornings. Here’s a sneak peek at a few of our favorites below.
This historical landmark needs no introduction as the bar is stamped in history as the starting point of the gay rights movement.
Huge outdoor patio, part warehouse and part queer playground, with a disco ball hanging overhead like a spiritual guide for the rest of your night.
Nestled on a West Village corner, this tiny lesbian bar is covered in colorful decor and somehow always packed with queer women, and their friends no matter what night it is.

Not every Pride plan needs a cover charge. From marches and dance parties to outdoor movie nights and community events, there are plenty of free ways to celebrate all month long.
Celebrate NYC’s second-largest Pride parade with the Queens Pride Parade and Multicultural Festival honoring LGBTQ+ visibility, culture, and community.
Join thousands of marchers at this year's Dyke March, a powerful community-led protest for visibility, safety, and LGBTQIA+ rights.
See thousands of New Yorkers hit the streets for one of the biggest LGBTQIA+ celebrations and civil rights demonstrations in the world.

There is more to Pride Month than partying, so we want to make sure we highlight organizations in the community doing great work!
Callen-Lorde is a leading LGBTQ+ community health center providing affirming medical care, HIV services, and advocacy for locals regardless of their ability to pay.
The Center is a leading LGBTQ+ community organization, offering mental health services, youth programs, advocacy, and community-building resources for LGBTQ+ locals.
The Brooklyn Community Pride Center provides LGBTQ+ community space, support services, wellness programs, and events throughout Brooklyn, creating opportunities for connection, advocacy, and belonging.
Based in the Bronx, Destination Tomorrow connects LGBTQ+ locals with housing, career, wellness, and community resources. Their work promotes economic, social, and mental empowerment.
Though relatively new, Butch Monthly has become an important part of NYC’s LGBTQ+ scene. Created by and for butches, it hosts social gatherings, supports mental health, and raises funds for queer and trans causes.
